What do we do?
Since 1919 the CU Hiking Club has been running outdoor trips for students and community members. We lead day hikes and overnight trips nearly every weekend during the school year as well as longer trips over Fall, Spring, and Winter breaks.
Each week, info on day and overnight trips are sent out through our email list. You can go on as many or as few trips as you want throughout the year, and everyone is welcome to come to our weekly Social Hours to meet officers, members, and talk trails!
Not experienced? No problem!
Our trips range in difficulty from short local hikes to class 3 summits. Whether you’re looking for some help getting into the outdoor lifestyle or have been at it for years, you’ll find trips and hiking partners all year round.
Don’t have any gear? Don’t sweat!
Our members enjoy free access to our extensive gear stash for club and personal trips, so if you don't have a pair of snowshoes yet, fear not, my fellow hikers!
How long have we been doing what we do?
